These terms are a practical startup-stage draft to explain how families can use Professor Noodle safely and fairly.

1. Eligibility

Accounts are intended to be created and managed by adults (parents/guardians). You confirm you are authorised to provide child information and use the service.

2. Service Description

Professor Noodle provides AI-assisted learning support for children (including maths, writing, coding, and exploratory learning). Features may change over time.

3. Subscription, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

Pricing and billing frequency are shown before payment. Subscriptions generally renew automatically unless cancelled before period end. Cancellation keeps access until the current period finishes. Payments for digital services are generally non-refundable, but if you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support and we will review promptly.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful activity.
  • Do not submit harmful, abusive, sexual, exploitative, or dangerous content.
  • Do not attempt to bypass safety controls.
  • Do not misuse children’s personal data or solicit unnecessary sensitive information.

5. AI Limitations

AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your child’s situation. The service is not a substitute for parental supervision, teachers, medical care, mental health support, emergency services, or legal advice.

6. Child Supervision

Parents remain responsible for supervising child use and deciding whether content is appropriate.

7. Emergency and Crisis Exclusion

This service is not for emergencies or crisis support. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 000 in Australia.

8. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, unlawful behavior, or child-safety risks.

9. Limitation of Liability and No Warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Liability for indirect loss, data loss, or reliance on AI outputs is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to Service or Terms

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia, unless otherwise required by law.
